History[]
Scott completed the piece on May 21, 2015. He uploaded it to his DeviantART page the same day. He liked the drawing so much that he also uploaded a "textless variant" version of the cover.
The textless variant version was also uploaded to his Instagram page on March 3, 2021.

Scott wanted to draw a series of comic covers as if the classic RPG Chrono Trigger was published in comic book form, each cover depicting the events in the game's story. (Scott played Chrono Trigger on the Super Nintendo.)
In this issue, the story would be:
This fifth issue would be the introduction of Frog. After Marle vanishes in 600 AD, Crono and Lucca look for answers at the Cathedral. While they find themselves overwhelmed by grotesque monsters, a humanoid frog joins the battle. As it turns out, the amphibious knight is on the same quest...

Scott started out with a pencil sketch, then inked the final line work. He then scanned the drawing and added some digital work in Paint Shop Pro.
