Nintendo Power v287 is a digital photo manipulation by W. Scott Pattullo in 2017, as well as Nintendo fan art.
History
Scott completed the piece on March 2, 2017 (one day before the release of the Nintendo Switch) and uploaded it to his DeviantART page the same day. Scott decided to design a cover for the defunct Nintendo Power magazine for the Nintendo Switch release at that time. He took an image of the Switch, the wolf amiibo, artwork from Mario Sports Superstars, and a screenshot from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He then placed them in the image digitally with Paint Shop Pro and added all the text.
Subject and title
Scott was a long-time subscriber and reader of Nintendo Power magazine and currently has the entire run of 285 issues. So he was a big fan of the publication. He decided to make this image volume 287 since the previous one he did was 286 where the official magazine left off.
